The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Foundation announced Thursday that it had given grants to free clinics around the state to help them expand and strengthen the services they offer to people without health insurance.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota has called on the Citizens League to form a panel of health care stakeholders to review and make recommendations on proposed hospital expansions.
