California Blue Cross and Blue Shield have both introduced new plans designed to provide the benefits shoppers are concerned about.

Easier access to specialists such as dermatology, allergy and more without referral. This year plans have new benefits available because new laws allow HRA (healthcare re-imbursement arrangements) style plans.

“Fund” is the catchword for these new plans; ‘Power Health Fund’ is one name for a popular Blue Cross of CA plan.
