UCLA Study Finds 50 Percent of Private HMO Enrollees Are Overweight or Obese (RedNova)
Jul. 21–A UCLA study says more than 50 percent of Californians enrolled in private HMO plans are overweight or obese, and that health-care providers should do more to address the problem. The HMOs say the study, though accurate, doesn’t say much because the information isn’t new.
