Geico cutting auto insurance rates for some California customers (KESQ Palm Springs)

LOS ANGELES (AP) – State insurance officials say Geico General Insurance Company will cut auto insurance rates for its 436,000 California policyholders by an average of 10.8% to comply with state rules requiring rates to be primarily determined by driving records.
